️ Hear the World: Proximity Voice Chat

Communication in Aetheria isn't just about typing—it’s about presence. We use Simple Voice Chat to bring the world to life with 3D, proximity-based audio.

• Natural Sound: No more global shouting. You can only hear players near you. The audio is Directional, meaning you’ll hear exactly where a player is standing relative to you, and voices will fade as you walk away.

• ️ Installation Guide (Required): To participate, you must install the mod on your Minecraft client:

  1. Install Fabric: Ensure you are using the correct Fabric Loader version.

  2. Download the Mod: Grab "Simple Voice Chat v2.6.11 for MC v1.21.8" from https://modrinth.com/plugin/simple-voice-chat.

  3. Mods Folder: Place the .jar file in your mods folder.

  4. Join Us: Restart your game and hop into Aetheria!

• ️ Mastering Your Mic: Press V in-game to open the settings. Here you can select your microphone, toggle between Voice Activation and Push-to-Talk (default: CAPS LOCK), and test your levels.

• ️ Quick Fixes: If you see a "Not Connected" icon, double-check that your mod version matches the server’s. Use the H menu to adjust the volume of individual players if they are too loud or quiet.
